Here it is, the way cool Debugging Rules poster. Download it, print it on your color printer, and hang it on your office or lab wall where you can see it as you look up to pull your hair out.

Remember, you may only download this file for your own use. If others want copies, send them to this site. You are not allowed to use portions of the poster design — you have to use it all or nothing.

If you agree, right click the following link and select “Save target to disk” or whatever the equivalent command is for your browser. The poster is a 540 Kbyte JPG – this gives you very good quality on a home color printer. (There’s a bigger, super-high quality, but slow downloading version below.)

The poster is formatted at 11″ x 17″, which is a really nice size for a poster but not too typical for home color printers. So when you print it, just tell your JPG viewer to “shrink to fit” and center the poster. It will shrink the poster by 30% and leave wide margins on the left and right, but the rules are still easily readable, even with bloodshot eyes through streams of tears.

For the perfectionists, the following is the super high quality version. The file size is 8 Mbytes, which takes a long time to download and probably bogs down the web server. Use it only if you have a fast connection and want to print it on 11″ x 17″ paper, or if you’re really picky about quality.

Get Adobe Acrobat ReaderDetails: The poster is a PDF file, so to look at or print it at home you’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don’t already have that, you can download it here:

You can write the PDF to a CD and carry it to (or even send it via the web to) your local Kinko’s. They can print a really nice 11 x17 poster on glossy heavy stock for about 3 bucks. The critter details are worth the money.
